SRMMCH&RC Forges Partnership with ECHO India

SRMMCH&RC, SRMIST has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ECHO (Extension for Community Health Care Outcomes) India on the 24th of January 2024.

Areas of Collaboration:

1.ECHO Model Implementation – Utilizing technology to optimize scarce resources.
2.Case-Based Learning – Focusing on mastering complexity in healthcare.
3.Sharing Best Practices – Collaborative efforts to reduce disparities in healthcare.
4.Web-Based Database Monitoring – Tracking outcomes in specific areas, including:
● Cancer
● Other non-communicable diseases
● Palliative care
● Tuberculosis
● Hepatitis
● Maternal and Child Health (MCH) care
● Mental health

The MoU was signed by Dr. A. Ravikumar, Pro VC MHS, Lt(col), on behalf of SRMIST, in the presence of Dr. Selvavinayagam, DPH, TN. Representing ECHO India, Dr. Snadeep Bhalla, AVP, ECHO India, New Delhi, was also part of this significant collaboration.
