SRM Medical College Hospital Conducts Successful Medical Camp at Venkadapuram Gnanodaya High School

The Department of Community Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, in collaboration with NSS SRM, organized a comprehensive medical camp on 19th March 2024 at Venkadapuram Gnanodaya High School. The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the community, with a team of dedicated sponsors supporting the initiative.

The medical camp featured specialized services in various disciplines, including
● Community Medicine
● General Surgery
● Obstetrics and Gynaecology
● Dermatology
● Pediatrics
● Psychiatry
● Audiology

This multi-specialty approach ensured that attendees received comprehensive care catering to their diverse medical needs.

One of the key highlights of the event was the significant turnout, with 121 individuals benefiting from onsite medical consultations. Of these, 42 attendees were referred for further medical assistance and treatment, underscoring the camp’s effectiveness in identifying and addressing healthcare concerns within the community.
