About The Department

• The Department of Medical Gastroenterology was started in the year 2015 and specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating disorders of the Digestive tract, Biliary System, Liver and Pancreas.
• The Department takes pride in having the latest endoscopic equipment and performing specialized diagnostic and advanced minimally invasive therapeutic procedures.
• The Department specializes in Image-enhanced endoscopy like Narrow band imaging and Chromoendoscopy for early cancer detection of the Gastrointestinal Tract. Various Advanced endoscopic procedures like ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, & Third Space Endoscopy POEM procedure, Endoscopic submucosal dissection, and STER are performed regularly.
