Medical camp at Kuthanur by SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

The medical camp was organized by the Department of Community Medicine, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre on 5th September 2024 at Kuthanur Anganwadi, Kuthanur, was a grand success sponsored by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). The objective behind the camp was to offer basic health services to the community.

The camp was carried out in the morning from 9: 30 AM to 3: 00 PM where 65 patients turned up for consultations and treatment. Of these, 7 cases were brought for further assessment and were sent to SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre along with a yellow card to avail free follow-up treatment.

Several departments actively participated in the camp, including:
– General Surgery
– Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG)
– Paediatrics
– ENT
– Community Medicine

The camp was a great success and helped many people in Kuthanur to avail themselves much-needed medical help, and SRM Medical College again proved its concern for the well-being of the community.
