World Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 is celebrated at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) celebrated World Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 based on the theme “Mental Health at the Workplace.” The mental health form was initiated by the Department of Psychiatry and was a week-long event with carefully crafted friendly competition activities.

Participants engaged with the fascination of activities like Stand-Up Comedy, Quizzes, Reels Making, Skits, Photo Contest, Poster Design and T-Shirt Painting, Rangoli, etc. That is how their creativity allowed them not only to gain prizes but also to receive recognition from the public and drive greater attention to the issues of mental health.

The chief guest, Dr. Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, the well-known Behavioral Neurologist & CEO of Buddhi Clinic, will deliver a keynote address on today’s critical workforce stress – Mental Health.

At the end of the week, SRMMCHRC will continue to advocate everyone to stay informed about mental health.
