Continuing Medical Education Program at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

The Department of General Surgery at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) organized an insightful Continuing Medical Education (CME) program aimed at advancing medical knowledge and fostering professional development among healthcare practitioners on 24th October 2024.

The event saw the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including:
– Dr. Nitin M Nagarkar, Pro Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) & Dean (Medical) at SRMMCHRC, graced the occasion with his presence and offered valuable insights on medical education.
– Dr. Venkatraman, Medical Superintendent of SRMMCHRC, whose contributions to the medical community were celebrated during the event.
– Dr. K Thinagaran, Professor & Head of the Department of General Surgery at SRMMCHRC, also led the event, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in the medical field.

The highlight of the CME program was the guest lecture delivered by Dr. Kishore Kumar K, a renowned Surgical Oncologist and Associate Consultant at RENAC Oncology. His engaging presentation on “Recent Advances in Breast Cancer Management” provided a deep understanding of the latest trends and innovations in breast cancer care, equipping them with essential knowledge for better patient outcomes.
