SRM Medical College Strengthens Global Research Collaborations with Auckland University of Technology
SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) continues to make significant strides in global research collaborations by welcoming Dr. Valery Feigin and Dr. Bala N, from the National Institute for Stroke and Applied Neuroscience (NISAN), Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
The discussions primarily focused on establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for two groundbreaking research projects:
~ Multicentric Approach for Investigating Mental Health and Neurological Disease Advancement (MANAS) – A Randomized Cluster-Controlled Study
~ Indian Brain Health Score (IBHS) Development Project
As part of the visit, Dr. Valery Feigin shared valuable insights into stroke prevention trials and introduced the Stroke Riskometer app, which will play a crucial role in these upcoming research initiatives.
