Dr. Tharun Ganapathy C Honoured with Multiple Awards at International Hernia Surgery Conference

We are proud to announce that Dr. Tharun Ganapathy C, Professor, Department of General Surgery, has been recognised with multiple prestigious awards for his exceptional contributions to Advanced Laparoscopic Hernia Repairs.

The accolades were conferred during the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction (AWR) – DI Surge International Conference, held in March 2025. This landmark event, a cornerstone in the global surgical calendar, convened more than 1,400 hernia surgeons from around the world. Among them were over 100 international faculty and 250 national faculty, all of whom gathered to celebrate innovation, excellence, and advancement in hernia surgery.
