About Us
- The Super specialty department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery was initiated to provide comprehensive cardiac surgical care to patients in 2008.
- Highly qualified Cardiac Surgeons, Cardiac anesthetists, Perfusionists, and Staff nurses work dedicatedly in the department to provide continuous comprehensive cardiac surgical care.
- We have well-equipped OTs (2 theatres) and ICUs (Main ICU & Step Down ICU).
- Round-the-clock emergency care including chest traumas, with a dedicated ICU.
- Academic activities for B.Sc. Cardio Perfusion Technology (CPT) students, M.Sc. Cardio Perfusion Technology (CPT) students, M.Ch. Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) students and Paramedical staff were actively underway in the department.

- Our ICU is equipped with 2 Mechanical Circulatory Support devices – Intra Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP).
- Fibre Optic Bronchoscopy (FOB) to deal with Thoracic pathology.
