About Us
- The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation emphasizes the prevention, diagnosis and management of disorders that may produce temporary or permanent limitation, disability or participation restriction in any individual.
- It focuses on the restoration of the function of individuals to the highest possible through an inter-disciplinary team.
- The team led by a Rehabilitation Physician(Physiatrist) and including Rehab Nurses, Occupational therapists, Physical therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Medical Social Workers, Orthotist and Prosthetist, effect a comprehensive treatment plan for a person with loss of function arising from diseases.
- Its therapeutic armamentarium includes medicines, medical and surgical interventions for musculoskeletal, neurological and pediatric disorders, therapeutic exercises, education and counseling.

- A comprehensive management of Chronic Pain conditions through an Integrated Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic led by the Physiatrist with a team of Physiotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, and Nurse.
- Advanced Orthotic and Prosthetic management workshop for neurological impairments, diabetic foot and amputations.
- Inpatient rehabilitation ward catering to various acute medical rehabilitation interventions.
