About Us


  • Orthopaedics department in SRM was started in the year 2005 by stalwarts who had done excellent work during their career in government hospitals.
  • We treat around 900 to 1000 patients every week in our outpatient department.We run specialty clinics every day for Spine, Arthritis, Pediatric disorders, deformities, Hand surgery and Arthroscopy.
  • Our faculty members have undergone fellowship trainings in Joint replacements, Arthroscopy, Paediatric orthopaedics and Micro-surgery of Spine.
  • We have state of the art equipment in the 3 operation theatres exclusively dedicated to our department.Our operating tables and image intensifiers are of international companies with cutting-edge technology.
  • Dedicated patient care, teaching and research are the goals of our department.
