About Us


  • Pediatric Surgery deals with surgery for all children from newborns to adolescents up to 18 years. It includes newborn surgery, urology, Gastrointestinal surgery, thoracic surgery, minimal access surgery, and Oncology in Children.
  • The hospital caters to daily outpatients, inpatient services, Operating Theater 2 days a week, and 24-hour emergency service.
  • The department works in tandem with other departments viz; Paediatrics, General Surgery,& urology and has been providing robust assistance so as to provide wholesome treatment for children.

Our Vision


  • To be an independent & confident surgeon in dealing with various surgeries for congenital malformations in children.
  • Training in acute care surgeries in children including trauma.
  • To make Paediatric surgery care care at affordable cost.

  • Our mission has been constant updating of infrastructure to meet the demands of the growing specialty, providing personalized care for needy patients on a 24x7 basis, streamlining academics, encouraging research, and innovative ideas, and providing a database for publications.

Academics


  • M.ch Paediatric surgery course is approved by MCI. One M.Ch Post Graded seat is available from our institution. We are also giving training to PGs in MS - General Surgery and B.Sc Nursing Students.

Infrastructure


  • Fully equipped with adequate Faculty, the required area for special patient care, and Instrumentation to address the demands of various subspecialties.
  • Providing 24x7 coverage for children's recurring surgical care.
