He is a Medical Postgraduate in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology with a Fellowship in Industrial Health under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India and a Bachelorette in Law. He is the Certifying Surgeon for the Seafarers as approved by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. He has delivered lectures to the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Police Training College, Vandalur, Chennai. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Philosophy in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
