Prof. Dr. K. V. Leela is currently serving as the Vice Principal and Head of Microbiology Department with 20 years of Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching experience. Chairman of Ethics Committee of ALRARI, Chennai and Board of Studies (BOS) member of Chettinad Academy of Research & Education (CARE) as well as Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). Member of IAMM, IATP and FERCI. Trained in Hospital Infection control, Biomedical Waste Management (BMWM), Internal audit Quality Management. Holds experience as student mentor of CAHO. Key contributor for audits and inspection in NMC, NABL and NAAC. Currently holds responsibility as Infection Control Officer in HICC and Antimicrobial Stewardship Team.
