• Initiated the fully functional Breast Clinic in the Department of General Surgery at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal in October 2011, which addresses the needs of patients with all types of breast diseases 
• Initiated and implemented in 2016 - the first academic institute in the country) in Kasturba Medical College and all allied medical institutes at Manipal a fully online submission, review and monitoring of non pharma clinical trial projects (approximately 800 projects per year) for the Kasturba Medical College and Kasturba Hospital Institutional Ethics Committee. This was implemented through the inhouse IEC Interface Software Program developed and supported by the Kasturba Hospital IT Team
• Awarded PGDMLE by National Law School of India University on 29.10.2017
• Attended and completed the NABH Assessor course for NABH Accreditation Standard for Ethics Committee under Clinical Trial Accreditation Program in 2018
• Initiated and implemented a fully online comprehensive post graduate and faculty surgical e-logbook in the Department of General Surgery (in 2019 - the first academic institute in the country) at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal which also serves as a registry for operative procedures conducted in each unit of the Department. This was implemented through Centre for Software Development, of Base of Pyramid program of Manipal Academy of Higher Education at Manipal School of Information Sciences
