Dr. T. Mythili, a highly accomplished educator, joined the prestigious SRM group in 1995 and has since then played a pivotal role in helping the institute achieve remarkable milestones. With a deep commitment to shaping young minds, she has dedicated her efforts as the Director of Student Affairs at SRM Institute of Science and Technology to go beyond textbook education and instilling valuable life lessons in her students. Recognizing her exceptional qualities and shared vision, SRM acknowledged Dr. T. Mythili as a kindred spirit and entrusted her with the important task of assisting in the establishment of the Career Development Centre approximately a decade ago. Her strong leadership skills and guidance have been instrumental in directing the successful execution of the National level cultural fest MILAN, which provides an impressive platform for students to showcase their talents and explore their potential.
Academically, Dr. T. Mythili boasts an impressive array of qualifications. She holds a Ph.D. in Soft Skills and has completed her MA, M.Phil, M.Ed, and MBA from the esteemed Madras University. However, her contributions extend far beyond her administrative duties. Over the years, she has made a profound impact on the lives of countless students who have walked through the portals of this esteemed institution. Dr.K.V.Leela
Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies (MHS)
Dr.K.V.Leela currently capacitating as Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) and Head of Microbiology Department of the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, SRMIST. She has 32 years of total experience and 20 years as UG & PG Teacher.
Prior to joining SRMIST, Dr. Leela was Vice Principal and a tenured Professor cum Head of Microbiology Department at the Government Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital. She has also taught and held leadership positions such as The Registrar, The Controller of Examinations (COE) in the State Government University at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
Prof. Leela was the State Vice President of Research Committee, Operational Research Committee of TB. She is also serving as Chairman of Ethics Review Committee of ALRAC under AYUSH and as a scientific review member for numerous journals. Currently a Board of Studies (BOS) Member at the Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute, Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital and Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER).
A highly accomplished scholar in Clinical Microbiology and Medical Research, Professor herself has published 04 books and more than 120 journal articles cum book chapters. Her work has been supported by grants from DST agencies and foundations, including the ICMR & WHO.
Dr.Leela holds membership in several professional organizations, including the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organization (CAHO), Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology (IATP), Forum of Ethics Review Committee of India (FERCI), Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM), and Indian Medical Association (IMA).

The Quality Assurance (QA) and the related practices are now an integral part of SRM Medical College Hospital and Allied educational institutions. since its establishment in 2005 has been emphasizing the importance of QA in every stage of programme planning, development, delivery and review in educational and hospital service with an aim of offering quality education to the students and health care to the community in and around SRM Medical College Hospital. The College has been paying every effort in engaging the stakeholders, including students, employers and teachers, effectively in its internal QA at the institutional level and programme level.
The College requires every learning programme to go through a rigorous internal QA process so that the planned programme is ensured to meet the stated objectives and the standards of Indian Medical Graduates. As such, students, being one of the major stakeholder groups, can be effectively facilitated to attain the learning outcomes as required by the the community as a whole and global relevance. For the purpose of quality enhancement, all of the College’s programmes are subject to regular reviews and changes such that the relevancy of the expected learning outcomes can always be assured. Dr. J. S. Kumar is Associate Dean, PG Academics (MHS) professor and Head of Department of General Medicine. He has a strong background in General Medicine and Diabetology, with an MD degree in General Medicine. Throughout his career, he has published 26 research papers and has accumulated 25 years of teaching experience.
Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS in 1989 from Medical College, Trivandrum, affiliated with Kerala University. Afterward, he pursued his residency at Sri Ramachandra Medical College from June 1997 to June 2000. Following his residency, he joined as an Assistant Professor at the same institution until April 2005, totaling four years and nine months.
Later on, Dr. Kumar was appointed as an Assistant Professor at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Center from August 2005 to January 2006, albeit for a brief period of four months. Subsequently, he served as an Associate Professor at the same institution from January 2006 to March 2010, accumulating four years and two months of experience. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of Professor at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Center, where he has been working since March 2010.
Overall, Dr. J. S. Kumar is an accomplished medical professional with extensive teaching experience and a significant contribution to the field of General Medicine and Diabetology.

Throughout his career, Dr. V. P. Dr. Balakrishnan R is the Vice – Principal Allied Health Science (MHS) and Associate Professor of Anatomy with 7 years of expertise in the field. He obtained his M.D. in Anatomy from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka, affiliated with Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka, in April 2015. Prior to that, he completed his M.B.B.S. degree from Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in August 2006.

Dr.Rajiv Janardhanan

Dr.Rajiv obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Delhi in 2003 with specialization in the areas of Microbial Ecology and Bioprospecting. Subsequently, he went to premier institutions such as Mayo Clinic (Rochester) in United States for advanced training in interdisciplinary areas of signal transduction pertaining to in vitro and in vivo studies on unmet clinical needs. He joined Amity University in 2012 as a Professor in Amity Institute of Biotechnology and from July 2014 till October 2021, he was heading the Amity Institute of Public Health, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida.
Dr. Rajiv has recently joined the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kattankulathur campus as Dean (Research). His current research interests include Restenosis, Fibrosis, Diabetes, Renal Physiology, Cell Biology, Signal Transduction, Vascular Biology, Public Health and Artificial Intelligence. His research is currently funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and Indian Council of Medical Research, Government of India.
