About The Department

  • The Department of Community Medicine provides teaching and training to Undergraduate MBBS students and Post Graduates in MD Community Medicine.
  • Additionally it aids in the teaching of students enrolled in paramedical and allied health science courses such as MHA (Masters in Hospital Administration).
  • The Department is comprised of experienced faculty from renowned National institutes.
  • The Department has organised several national conferences, workshops, and seminars for the benefit of students and has also collaborated on several funded projects with agencies such as the ICMR & WHO.
  • Additionally, the department took a proactive role in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Unnat Bahrat Abhiyan activities and Covid vaccination.

Eligibility For Community Medicine

Pass in MBBS or its Equivalent Degree recognized by NMC (Canditates completing the CRRI / CRMI on or before 31st March of the Year) NEET PG score as prescribed by NMC.
