About The Department

  • The Orthopaedics department in SRM was started in the year 2005 by stalwarts who had done excellent work during their career in government hospitals.
  • We treat around 900 to 1000 patients every week in our outpatient department. We run specialty clinics every day for Spine, Arthritis, Pediatric disorders, deformities, Hand Surgery, and Arthroscopy.
  • Our faculty members have undergone fellowship trainings in Joint replacements, Arthroscopy, Paediatric orthopedics, and Micro-surgery of the Spine.
  • We have state-of-the-art equipment in the 3 operation theatres exclusively dedicated to our department. Our operating tables and image intensifiers are of international companies with cutting-edge technology.
  • Dedicated patient care, teaching and research are the goals of our department.

Eligibility For Orthopaedics

Pass in MBBS or its Equivalent Degree recognized by NMC (Canditates completing the CRRI / CRM! on or before 31st March of the Year) NEET PG score as prescribed by NMC
