Celebrating Inclusivity on International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD)
The Department of Clinical Psychology at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) organised a vibrant celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on December 3, 2024. With the theme “An Inclusive World for Everyone,” the event aimed to showcase the talents of children with disabilities and honour the invaluable contributions of their caregivers.
The program began with an inspiring Inauguration Ceremony, including the Tamil Thaivazhthu, a warm welcome address, and opening remarks by distinguished dignitaries,

A series of engaging competitions and programs were organised as part of the celebration, creating a platform to celebrate the achievements and potential of children with disabilities. The event also served to recognise and appreciate the dedication of caregivers, whose support plays a pivotal role in the lives of these children.
