Celebrating “VALLI” 4000 – A New Milestone!

The Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation, in collaboration with SRM Hospital, Potheri, proudly marked a significant milestone with the distribution of the 4000th Valli Card on November 6, 2024. This initiative is part of the institution’s continuous effort to support community health and provide essential medical benefits to residents.

In this special ceremony, Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Pro Vice-Chancellor (MHS) In-charge & Dean (Medical), and Dr. T. Mythili, Additional Registrar, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC), presented the 4000th Valli Card to Mrs. Tamilselvi, a resident of Oragadam. This moment celebrated the dedication and commitment of SRM Hospital to extending healthcare services to underserved populations.

Adding to the festivities, Dr. R. Venkatraman (MHS), Medical Superintendent, SRMMCHRC released the 15th edition of the “Valli Community Health Newsletter” in Tamil. This publication served as an important resource aimed at enhancing health awareness and sharing valuable medical information with the local communities of Maraimalai Nagar and Potheri.

This milestone is a testament to the institution’s dedication to community health and the combined efforts of SRM Hospital and the Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation in fostering wellness and health education.
