Health Camp by SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre Makes a Positive Impact
In a significant outreach effort, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) sponsored a medical camp organized by the Department of Community Medicine, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre.
Held at Panchayath Union Middle School in Kalivauthapathu camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local community. This underscores SRMIST’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
The camp saw active participation from multiple medical departments. These included

This diverse team of specialists worked collaboratively. They addressed a wide range of health concerns ensuring comprehensive care for attendees
A total of 81 Outpatient Services (OPS) were conducted. Thorough medical evaluations were provided by volunteer doctors and healthcare professionals. Among attendees, 17 individuals were identified as needing further medical intervention. They were referred to SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre with yellow cards for specialized treatment
The event was a testament to the collaborative spirit of the medical fraternity provides an opportunity to raise awareness about various health issues and promote preventive healthcare practices.
