Health Camp – SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre and Kayarambedu Panchayat

The Department of Community Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre at Kayarambedu Panchayat organized a Medical Camp sponsored by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and Kayarambedu Panchayat on 6th July 2024.

Outcome:
The camp’s target beneficiaries were 52 outpatients (OPS) who were given medical check-ups on arrival at the camp. Out of them, 26 cases were referred to continue their treatment at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre along with the yellow card formalities.

It is through such activities that SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre shows their supportive effort towards the health of the people in the concerned regions, as it directly delivers basic medical services to the residents of Kayarambedu. Health care being a shared concern, such partnerships in the community seek to improve the delivery and availability of health care thus improving the welfare of the people.
