HYGEIA 2025 – Women’s Basketball 5s Tournament Champions Crowned!

HYGEIA 2025, the flagship intercollegiate fest of SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SRMMCH&RC), hosted an electrifying Women’s Basketball 5s Tournament, showcasing skill, determination, and sportsmanship. The event was meticulously organised by the vibrant MBBS Student Council 2025, bringing together medical colleges in a spirited celebration of athleticism and camaraderie.

After a series of intense and closely contested matches, Kasturba Medical College (KMC) emerged as the Winners, while Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute secured the Runners-up position, both displaying commendable teamwork and resilience on the court.

The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from multiple institutions, and every team brought their A-game, contributing to the dynamic and competitive atmosphere.
