Inauguration of SRM – WHO Model Unit and Doctors’ Day Awards Ceremony at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

SRM Medical College celebrated the inauguration of SRM – WHO Model Unit. It also honored outstanding faculty achievements through the Doctors’ Day Awards. The event took place at SRM Medical College auditorium on 19th July 2024.

Inauguration of the Model WHO Units
This inauguration included the ceremonial unveiling of flags symbolized the beginning of this initiative. Directors-in-charge presented units and discussed their goals. They emphasized SRM Medical College’s commitment to global health. Knowledge dissemination was also a key point.

The Doctors’ Day Awards ceremony followed. It recognized faculty members for exceptional research achievements over the past year. Awards were presented to staff members who had published more than three papers. Eight faculty members have published ten papers. Their contributions to medical research and academic excellence were celebrated. This inspired all attendees of the event.

The WHO stalls and recognition of research excellence underscored SRM Medical College’s commitment to advancing public health knowledge and fostering a culture of academic excellence.

The success of this event marks a significant milestone in the journey of SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. Towards creating a healthier future through education research and collaboration.
