International Clinical Trials Day

International clinical trials day is celebrated to commemorate the day that James Lind, a ship surgeon in the British Royal Navy began the first randomized clinical trial in 1747.

Center of clinical trials and research celebrated International clinical trials day on May 20th, 2023 to create awareness on the importance of clinical trials. DR.Satyajit Mohapatra, director CCTR welcomed the gathering, Dean Dr.Sundaram, gave the keynote address .Clinical trial Investigators, clinical research site team gave their opinion on clinical trials in CCTR.

As part of ICTD 2023, different competitions like mehendi, art out of waste, poster presentations, quiz and debate were held . Teaching, Non – teaching and students participated. Winners were awarded.

ICTD was celebrated by cutting the cake.
