Lab Week Celebration 2024 at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre recently concluded a celebration of Lab Week 2024, aimed at enhancing skills and exploring the scope of laboratory practices. The event spanned three days, filled with engaging activities and insightful sessions, upholding a spirit of teamwork and professional development among participants.

Highlights of the Celebration:
Inauguration Ceremony – The event commenced with an inauguration ceremony, marked by traditional customs including Tamilthai Valzhthu and Lamp Lighting by the dignitaries.
Debate Competition – Students engaged in a stimulating debate on “Social Media in Student Life,” building arguments on both the positive and negative aspects.
Guest Speaker Sessions – Dr. Lalitha Chenthil shared insights on “Business Opportunities with Zero Percent Economic,” while Mr. N. V. Subash Kolappan discussed the “Scope of MLT” post-graduation.
Poster Presentations – Students exemplify their research through poster presentations on “Medical Laboratory Subjects,” especially focusing on the videography topic, “Stress in Students Life.”
Cultural Events – Various cultural activities such as Rangoli, Connection, Poetry, Fireless Cooking, Fruit Carving, Face Painting, and Drawing were organized, encouraging creativity and participation among students.
Prize Distribution – The celebration culminated with the distribution of prizes to winners, followed by a memorable group photo session capturing the essence of the event.

Over 200 enthusiastic attendees actively participated in the program, gaining valuable insights and skills relevant to medical laboratory sciences.
