Medical Camp Organised at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre

The Department of Community Medicine at the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC), in collaboration with the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), successfully organised a medical camp on March 6, 2025, at Anjur Village.

The camp saw the active participation of multiple medical departments, ensuring a wide range of healthcare services for the community:
● General Surgery
● Psychiatry
● Audiology
● ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
● Dermatology
● Community Medicine

During the camp, medical professionals provided healthcare services to 87 outpatients (OPs). Among them, 32 cases were identified and referred for further treatment at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, ensuring they received specialised care.

A special acknowledgement to Mr. Devaraj, President of Anjur Village, for his visit and unwavering support, which contributed to the success of the medical camp. His encouragement and cooperation played a vital role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and the local community.
