Medical Outreach Camp by SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre
Awareness and health camps were organized by the Department of Community Medicine, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in association with the Madambakam panchayat on 12th September 2024. The camp was organized in the CSI Church, Madambakkam.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Nitin M Nagarkar, Dean – Medical, SRMMCHRC, CSI Christu Adiyaan Aayar Achen emphasizing the need of the camp. The event was well participated by different departments of SRMMCHRC, such as

âž” General Surgery
âž” Dermatology
âž” Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG)
âž” Pediatrics
âž” Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
âž” Audiology
In the course of the camp, 62 outpatient services (OPS) were benefited and 40 of the cases had to be referred to SRMMCHRC and given a yellow card indicating that they needed to be followed up in the hospital.
The partnership further reiterated the organization’s goal of improving the health status of the community and also making medical facilities available to citizens of the community.
