Report of National Breastfeeding Week- 2023

The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics celebrated the National Breastfeeding Week- 2023 by hosting recipe contest on the theme “Lactogogues Rich Recipe” among students, teaching and non-teaching faculties. The valedictory function was organized on 8th Aug 2023 at SRM MCH & RC Hospital Seminar Hall. The Dean Medical, SRM MCH & RC graced the occasion and delivered the inaugural address. The resource person Dr. Anuradha, HOD Obstetrics and Gynecology SRM MCH & RC delivered a presentation on the importance of “Lactogogues and Breastfeeding”..The prizes for the recipe contest were given away to students by our most respectable Dean -Medical and Dr. Anuradha madam. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. K Silambu Selvi and the program came to an end with National Anthem.
