SRM Allied Health Science Students Participate in Barclays Lifeskill Training Program
Allied Health Science students from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre recently participated in the Barclays Lifeskill Training program, held from 22nd to 24th September 2025. The initiative, conducted by the GTT Foundation, aimed to equip students with essential professional and life skills, providing them with tools to navigate future career challenges effectively.
Over the three-day program, participants engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. The training also emphasised personal development, helping students build confidence, resilience, and a growth-oriented mindset.
The Barclays Lifeskill Training program is part of a broader effort to prepare young professionals for the dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring they are not only academically proficient but also adaptable and equipped with the soft skills required in real-world scenarios. Students and faculty expressed appreciation for the opportunity, noting that the program offered valuable insights into both professional conduct and personal growth.
