SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre and Vijay Fans Association Collaborate for Community Health Camp

On June 20, 2024, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), in collaboration with the Vijay Fans Association (TVK), sponsored a comprehensive health camp organized by the Department of Community Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. The camp was held at the Old Bus Stand in Chengalpattu and commenced at 9:30 AM.

The camp witnessed a significant turnout, with a total of 105 outpatients (OPs) attending. Among these, 28 cases were identified as requiring further treatment and were referred to SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. These cases were issued Yellow Cards, ensuring their streamlined follow-up and treatment at the hospital.

The health camp underscored the commitment of SRMIST and the Vijay Fans Association to community welfare, providing essential medical services and support to the residents of Chengalpattu. The collaborative effort of various departments ensured comprehensive healthcare coverage, addressing a wide range of medical needs.
