SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre organised a Student Council Induction Ceremony 2025

The MBBS Student Council Induction Ceremony 2025 was held on March 3, 2025, at the SRM Medical Hippocrates College Auditorium. The event commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the presentation of the Valentheos, MBBS student Council Report.

A special address was delivered by Dr. T. Mythili, Additional Registrar, who highlighted the importance of leadership in shaping future healthcare professionals. The newly elected council members then took their oath of office under the guidance of Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean. The newly appointed Council President, Mr. Samanyu, outlined the agenda and initiatives planned for the upcoming academic year.

Freshers’ Day Celebration

On the same day, the Valentheos Student Council organised a vibrant Freshers’ Day program to welcome the MBBS first-year students of the 2024 batch. The event featured energetic dance and song performances, with students showcasing their talents in colourful traditional attire. The lively celebration provided an opportunity for the new students to interact, express their creativity, and immerse themselves in the SRM community.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving students motivated and excited for the academic journey ahead.
