SRMMCHRC Extends Healthcare Services Through Community Camp

The Department of Community Medicine, SRMMCHRC, conducted a medical camp on 20 November 2025 at Meenambakkam. The camp was sponsored by SRMIST and Kendriya Vidyalaya and drew strong participation from the local community.

A total of 242 patients visited the outpatient services, and 84 individuals were referred for further evaluation or specialised care.

Several departments contributed to the camp, including Community Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, OBG, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry and Audiology. Their combined efforts ensured that people received timely assessments and guidance for ongoing care.

The camp aimed to strengthen community outreach and make essential health services more accessible to the public.
