SRMMCH&RC’s Department of Community Medicine, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, organized a Successful Medical Camp at Singaperumal Kovil

The Department of Community Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SRMMCH&RC), in partnership with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, organized a highly beneficial medical camp at Government Higher Secondary School, Singaperumal Kovil, on February 6th, 2024.

Special Visit at the Camp:
● Dr. Thirumurugan, Estate Officer at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST)
● Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, Panchayath President of S.P. Kovil

Departments took part in the Camp:
● Community Medicine
● General Surgery
● Obstetrics and Gynaecology
● Pediatrics
● Dermatology
● ENT
● Audiology

The medical camp catered to a diverse demographic, serving 184 individuals includes
➔ 19 males
➔ 78 females
➔ 58 children

Notably, 54 identified cases were referred for further treatment at SRMMCH&RC, marked with yellow cards.

This collaborative effort contributed significantly to early diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical concerns, particularly benefiting the local community and children.
