Student Achievements at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre!

The students from SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre bagged awards at the CHETANATCON 2025 – National Conference in Anatomy, organised by Chettinad Medical College on 9th January 2025. This event, themed “Anatomy Meets Innovation – 3D Printed Anatomical Models in Neurosurgical Procedures”, showcased the intersection of traditional anatomical knowledge and modern technological advancements.

First Place in Poster Presentation:

Ms. Megha P V, an MSc Postgraduate student from SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, emerged victorious, securing First Place in the Poster Presentation competition. Her insightful and innovative presentation captivated the judges and highlighted the potential of 3D-printed anatomical models in neurosurgical procedures.

Second Place in Histology Rangoli Competition:

A special commendation goes to Dr. Jiby Livingta (Final Year, MD Anatomy), Ms. Rohini, and Ms. Monisha (Second Year, MSc Anatomy), who collectively won the Second Prize in the Histology Rangoli Competition. Their creative depiction of histological structures using rangoli art was both educational and visually stunning, earning them well-deserved recognition.

The CHETANATCON 2025 conference provided a unique platform for students to explore and present innovative solutions in the field of anatomy.
