World Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 is celebrated at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) celebrated World Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 based on the theme “Mental Health at the Workplace.” The Department of Psychiatry led the initiative of the mental health form distribution to develop friendly connections thereby engaging them for the whole week with competitions.
Participants engaged with the fascination of activities like Stand-Up Comedy, Quizzes, Reels Making, Skits, Photo Contest, Poster Design and T-Shirt Painting, Rangoli, etc. That is how their creativity allowed them not only to gain prizes but also to receive recognition from the public and drive greater attention to the issues of mental health.

The chief guest, Dr. Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, the well-known Behavioral Neurologist & CEO of Buddhi Clinic, delivered a keynote address on today’s critical workforce stress – Mental Health.

At the end of the week, SRMMCHRC will continue to advocate for everyone to stay informed about mental health.
