World OT Day 2023

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, SRM College of Occupational Therapy, organized Continuing Occupational Therapy Education (COTE) on Applied Behavioral Analysis for Children with Developmental Disabilities on World OT Day, 17th November 2023.

The event was inaugurated by our honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor (MHS), Dr. Lt. Col. A. Ravikumar, Dr. A. Sundram, Advisor (MHS), and Dr. Nithin M. Nagarkar, Dean (MCH & RC), SRMIST, who delivered the Presidential, Inaugural, and Special Addresses. The chief guest was M. Masilamani, MOT (Pediatrics), senior occupational therapist, and founder of the Transition Center for ABA. She shared her extensive knowledge with the students, which was very enlightening.

Following the inauguration, there was a brainstorming session where MOT and BOT students had the opportunity to seek clarification of doubts from our resource person.

During this event, our talented students showcased their creativity and compassion through events like poster making, rangoli, poetry, quizzes, and online photography. The event was highlighted with a prize distribution ceremony to the winners of the first, second, and third prizes who participated in the events conducted in celebration of World OT Day.
