World Purple Day by Neurology

“World Purple Day “a grand event was organized by SRM IST, on 06.04.2023 at SRM Hospital Seminar Hall. Around 150 delegates attended the programme.
The event started at 11.30 AM with Welcome Address by Dr. S. Arunan, HOD of Neurology, Presidential Address was given by Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Lt. Col. A. RaviKumar. Prof. A. Sundaram our Dean gave the Inaugural Address. Prof. Balamurugan our Medical Superintendent addressed the audience. Introduction of the guest speaker was done by Dr. R. Kalpana., Associate Professor of Neurology followed by a guest lecture by Dr. S. Dinesh Nayak. M.D, D.M (Neurology), Director, Neurology; Head, Gleneagles Advanced Centre for Epilepsy, Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, India. On “Seizures and Epilepsy – A Practical Approach” Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Dr. Elanthiraiyan G.C., Assistant professor of Neurology.
