SRM MCH&RC Launches BIRAC BioNEST – A Hub for Future-Ready Healthcare Startups
SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SRM MCH&RC) at SRMIST officially launched its BIRAC BioNEST – a dedicated innovation and incubation hub for med-tech, health-tech and biotech start-ups on 10th December 2024. The inauguration was led by Dr Y. K. Gupta, President of AIIMS Jammu and Chairman of the Research Advisory Committee at SRMIST. In his keynote address, Dr Gupta highlighted the vital role of supporting young innovators and building a vibrant startup ecosystem within healthcare innovation. He also reaffirmed alignment with the “Make in India” initiative, encouraging stakeholders to drive advancements that strengthen India’s position in global healthcare and technology.
