MoU signed at the 2nd International Neurology Symposium at SRMMCH&RC, SRMIST-KTR!

The Department of Neurology at the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCH&RC) organized the 2nd International Neurology Symposium at the Hippocrates Auditorium.

Highlights of the Symposium:
1.SRMMCH&RC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Parkinson’s Research Alliance of India (PRAI), Kondapur, Telangana, for collaborative research in Neuro Movement Disorders, especially Parkinson’s Disease.
2.The symposium commenced with keynote addresses, followed by informative lectures on various topics related to neurology, including clinical trials, biomarkers for Parkinson’s Disease, and therapeutic advancements.
3.There were 151 online registrations and 350 attendees, including faculties, medical postgraduates, and undergraduate students from various Allied Health Sciences programs, participated in the event.

The symposium aimed to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of neurology, with a focus on Neuro Movement Disorders, particularly Parkinson’s Disease. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculties, medical postgraduates, and undergraduate students showcasing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.
