SRM Medical College Hosts Inspiring Alumni Talk in Collaboration with Directorate of Alumni Affairs

The Department of Biochemistry at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre recently organized an enlightening alumni session in partnership with the Directorate of Alumni Affairs on February 23, 2024 at New Lecture Hall-I, SRMMCH&RC

Distinguished Alumni Speakers:

1. Dr. A. Ashwin Kumar
– MBBS alumnus (Batch of 2005)
– Associate Professor of Radiology at Madras Medical College (MMC)
– Holds an impressive MD in Radiodiagnosis from Chettinad Medical College
– Received specialized training from Barnard Institute of Radiology, MMC

2. Dr. Kumar
– Renowned figure in Interventional Radiology, set to inspire and mentor current MBBS students
– Honored with awards like the Best Oral Paper Award in Neuroradiology and Rising Star Award for Onco-imaging and Interventions
– Recently conferred the “Illustrious Alumni Award” by SRM Institute of Science & Technology

Participants engaged actively with the alumni, gaining valuable insights from their experiences and networking with fellow alumni and faculty members. The event celebrated excellence and knowledge sharing.
