Outreach Health Camp by SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre

The Department of Community Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCHRC) successfully organised a comprehensive health camp on 10th December 2024, sponsored by the Maraimalai Nagar Municipality. The camp took place at Maraimalai Nagar and aimed to provide essential medical services to the local community.

The camp saw active participation from multiple departments, including:

● General Medicine
● General Surgery
● ENT
● Ophthalmology
● Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG)
● Dental
● Orthopaedics
● Community Medicine
● Pulmonology
● Audiology

Key Highlights

● A total of 307 outpatients (OPs) attended the camp.
● 193 cases were referred to SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre for further evaluation and treatment, all provided free of cost.

The event underscored SRMMCHRC’s commitment to extending quality healthcare services beyond its campus, ensuring that underserved communities receive the attention and care they need.
