SRMMCHRC Organised 3rd Distinguished Lecture Series!!

The 3rd Distinguished Lecture Series organised by SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre took place with great enthusiasm and scholarly engagement, featuring an insightful lecture by Dr. T.S. Surendran, Chairman, Sankara Nethralaya, Eye Research Foundation, Chennai.

Held at the Hippocrates Auditorium, the session drew a vibrant audience of medical and health sciences students, faculty members, and researchers. Dr. Surendran delivered a compelling talk titled “A Journey Through Ophthalmology’s Evolution: From Ancient Incantations to AI-powered Insights”, offering an expansive overview of the history of ophthalmology—from its ancient origins to the integration of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies in modern-day practice.
