Dr. Rachula Daniel Heroes of TNOA – Award in Healthcare at 71st Annual State Conference

Dr. Rachula Daniel has been honored with the ‘Heroes of TNOA—Award in Healthcare’ at the TNOA 71st Annual State Conference. The function was held at the Chennai Trade Centre, at which Dr. Daniel was awarded for her valuable contributions to ophthalmology and the healthcare system on 17th August 2024.

The award was received from Mr. Ma. Subramanian, the Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, in the presence of medical professionals. This award is a testimony to her zeal for eye care as well as efficiency in promoting the welfare of healthcare organizations.

The TNOA conference provided prospective knowledge in the field of ophthalmology, where experts and practitioners shared ideas and research findings with respect to eye treatment. Dr. Rachula’s achievement shows the enthusiasm and commitment toward the medical field inspires the students and other fellowmates to achieve greater heights in the Medical field.

This award does not only reward the individual performance of Dr. Daniel, but it is also an indication of the level of professionalism of the Tamilnadu Ophthalmic Association in identifying and training healthcare personnel whose contributions are redounding to society.
