National Pharmacovigilance Week celebrations in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Department of Pharmacology, conducted a community outreach programme on September 21, 2023, to Mamandur (Pilappur Village) as part of the 3rd National Pharmacovigilance Week celebrations in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission.

During this event, we created awareness among the public by giving talks about the adverse effects of commonly prescribed drugs, issuing pamphlets and conducting a free camp for the local public in Pilappur village.

The event also featured sessions: a walkathon, an awareness speech by our Head of Department of Pharmacology and broadening the knowledge of the local public on safety and vigilance in various medical domains.
