PLASTERCON 2025: CME on Plaster Techniques at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre

The Department of Orthopaedics at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre organised PLASTERCON 2025, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program dedicated to the fundamentals of plaster techniques, on January 31, 2025, at the Orthopaedics Seminar Hall.

The event featured esteemed faculties and experts from SRM and neighbouring institutions, who delivered insightful lectures on various plaster applications. The sessions were followed by live demonstrations and hands-on workshops, ensuring an interactive and practical learning experience for the attendees.

A notable highlight of the CME was the felicitation ceremony honouring the past plaster technicians, recognising their invaluable contributions to orthopaedic care over these years.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 55 postgraduate students, who gained in-depth knowledge and reinforced core skills essential for orthopaedic practice.
