The Department of Clinical Psychology at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre marked World No Plastic Bag Day with a dedicated campaign on June 3rd, 2024. This effort aimed at raising public awareness. It highlighted the environmental impact of plastic pollution.

➔ Recognition of Excellence: Dignitaries awarded winners. The poster and reel-making competitions acknowledged their creativity and commitment to environmental awareness.

A focal point of the event was a stall. It showcased eco-friendly alternatives such as jute bags. Organic soaps and sanitary pads. These products crafted by parents of children undergoing behavioral therapy at the Department of Clinical Psychology, underscored the hospital’s dedication to sustainable practices and community involvement.

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre’s initiatives towards sustainability and public health awareness were a resounding success.
