Workshop on “Zebrafish in Disease Models”

A three-day workshop on “Zebrafish in Disease Models” was held at the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, organized by the Department of Pharmacology in collaboration with Simbioen Labs & Scientific Services Pvt Ltd from May 10th to May 12th, 2023. The workshop aimed to provide insights into the use of zebrafish in disease models and its application in drug discovery. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. A. Sundaram, Dean, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre and Dr. R. Jamuna Rani, Professor & HOD, Department of Pharmacology, in the presence of Dr. Sathyanarayanan ,Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Mr. Prashanth K.K, CEO Simbioen Labs & Scientific Services Pvt Ltd. Thirty two Participants from various colleges such as All India Institute of Medical Science, Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Chengalpattu Medical College, Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Government Kilpauk Medical College, Kasturba Medical college attended the workshop.
