About Us
- The Department of Pediatrics was established in the year 2005 and is a tertiary care centre with 120 Pediatric beds, including 20 PICU beds and 20 NICU beds.
- Our Paediatrics department is designed based on a child-friendly environment and a family-centered team supporting child health care.
- The spectrum of healthy and sick children reaching this department for clinical care provides the students with unparalleled opportunities to learn and serve.
- Problem-solving and research are central to the academic programs in the department.
- The department has a regular teaching program for undergraduate (M.B.B.S) and postgraduate (MD Pediatrics) students, as well as a PhD program in Pediatrics.
- Students are placed under highly qualified faculty members who have wide experience in teaching innovatively and effectively with state of art teaching methods.
- Modern methods of Teaching are being followed routinely for academics. Our department is conducting Periodic Student assessments and Parent-teacher interactions.
- The department has published more than 40 scientific papers in the last 3 years in indexed journals of national and international repute.
- PG Eligibility : Pass In MBBS or its Equivalent Degree recognized by NMC (Canditates completing the CRRI / CRMI on or before 31st March of the Year) NEET PG score as prescribed by NMC.
